For Ben & Holly’s Live show Karl Evans Studio built full lightweight head masks, a remote control animatronic Ladybird (Gaston) that can be sat upon by Ben and Puppets of some of the Characters. 

 

Full head masks where made for all the Characters. Gaston had to have moving and blinking eyes, a crying mechanism that had to have the water shoot out into the audience and moving legs, this also had to be robust enough for the many shows around the country.

 

For all the Fairies we made actor controlled flapping wings, again needing to be light and robust. Miniature puppets of Gaston carrying Ben & Lucy and Holly where built with moving wings.

 

We also made a selection of oversized Lemons, Berry’s, sugar cubes and other props from foam and fibreglass.
